POPIA Notice
This notice sets out how GrowMatic SA processes personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). It's a focused summary of your rights and our commitments; our full Privacy Policy has the detail.
Our commitment: we process personal information lawfully, only for the purposes we've explained, keep it secure, and honour your rights as a data subject. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.

2. The information we process and why
We process the personal information you give us — such as your name, email, phone number, business name, and the content of your enquiry — so that we can respond to you, arrange consultations, and provide our services. We collect it directly from you through our website form, website chat, WhatsApp, email, or phone. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
3. How we meet POPIA's conditions
- Accountability — an Information Officer (above) is responsible for our compliance.
- Purpose limitation — we collect personal information for the specific purposes explained to you, and not beyond them.
- Minimality — we only ask for what we actually need to help you.
- Openness — this notice and our Privacy Policy tell you what we do.
- Security safeguards — we take reasonable measures to protect your information and work only with reputable service providers.
- Data subject participation — you can see, correct, or delete your information at any time.
4. Your rights as a data subject
Under POPIA you have the right to:
- Be told that we hold your personal information, and request access to it.
- Request that we correct or delete personal information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, or obtained unlawfully.
- Object, on reasonable grounds, to the processing of your information.
- Withdraw consent you previously gave, where our processing relies on consent.
- Not be subject to unsolicited electronic marketing — and to opt out of any follow-up at any time.
- Complain to the Information Regulator.
5. How to exercise your rights
Email ewan@growmaticsa.com or WhatsApp +27 82 790 0255 and tell us what you'd like to do. We'll respond as soon as reasonably possible and won't charge you for a reasonable request.
6. Direct marketing & follow-up
If we follow up on an enquiry, we stop the moment you ask us to. Every WhatsApp follow-up sequence ends as soon as you reply or ask us to stop, and you can opt out of email at any time by replying to any message.
